Pipe Jacking

Installation is achieved by hammering a steel pipe through the ground using a pneumatic pipe ramming machine. When ground conditions such as pit run, cobble or wet sand make auguring difficult, hammering is an excellent alternative. After the hammer shock is successfully completed, the spoil is removed entirely. This method of pipe installation has the benefit of leaving the surrounding soil undisturbed. This negates the risk of settlement that can lead to structural problems in roads,rail lines and buildings.
